The Loft at Ash Beacon is a lovely self-catering holiday apartment nestled in a beautiful valley in the East Devon Jurassic Coast countryside, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

 

It is the perfect summer hideaway or cosy winter retreat for nature loving couples and families alike. During your stay, you can explore acres of magical private grounds – a tiny paradise – including a bluebell wood, private lake, paddock, stream and woodlands. A real sanctuary for wildlife, and away from the madding crowd. You might even drag yourselves away to explore the surrounding countryside and take advantage of the many places to explore and experience nearby. World Heritage Jurassic Coast beaches, ancient hill forts, country pubs and tea rooms, amazing gastro-pubs, stately homes and gardens… This is truly the ideal place for an unforgettable holiday or mini-break.

 

The Loft has recently been transformed to bring light and laughter into this happy holiday destination. We do hope you love it as much as we do. 

 

We live in the house across the drive, so if you need help or advice, or need to borrow something we are usually not far away. But we also like to ensure you have your privacy and have created a completely private rear garden oasis for The Loft where guests can relax and take in the Watership Down view of Beacon Hill and the peace that it offers. In addition, guests have access to our wonderful (evolving) wilderness grounds, most of which are also free for you to explore and enjoy.
